Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Do you remember the wonderful gift given to you by the person who sponsored you on your original Tres Dias Weekend? Was that weekend one of the most precious times of your life? Did someone else pay for your weekend? WOW! What an awesome gift they gave you. You learned about Piety, Study, and Action. You learned in the Ideals Rollo about time, talent, treasures and thoughts. We all know that as our thoughts go so goes our action. When we go into action usually our time, talents and treasures are also involved.
Here is the subject I want you to address in your community. The Gift That Keeps On Giving. We have been advised that several overseas communities have had to cancel or postpone weekends due to a lack of funds. Bad economic circumstances in Ukraine and Russia have made it extremely difficult for Tres Dias communities to cover the bare minimum weekend costs. In Ukraine, many people get paid only $25.00 a week and many only eat one meal a day.
You are now being given the opportunity to share in the gift that was given to you, the opportunity to sponsor someone overseas. Would you or your community be willing to make a financial donation?

Tres Dias communities or individuals are invited and encouraged to donate funds to other communities via Tres Dias, Inc. You can donate on line via credit card at www.tresdias.org or by U.S. mail. A form to include with your mailed donation can be found at the end of this letter.
Did you know you can serve on a team overseas? Remember when you served on a team, the joy you felt. Have you thought of the blessing you could be to someone in another country? Think about how you and your community could be a blessing to others. This gift that keeps on giving; the gift about Jesus and how He desires a personal relationship with you is one that needs to be shared and your support can do that. Please prioritize this subject in your prayers.
I personally thank you for your donation. I am one who has experienced the joy to donate and to serve overseas. God took me out of my comfort zone and remolded me into a new creation. The experience has changed me forever and I praise God.
