The Tres Dias Fund Management Committee is pleased to announce the new Tres Dias Fund is now open and accepting donations.

Explanation of the new fund:
Since 9/11, the IRS is requiring all charitable organizations to provide an audit trail of monies sent off shore.  In an effort to comply with these requirements and to provide a service to the communities that would assist them in their efforts to start new communities overseas, the Secretariat voted to procure the services of the National Christian Foundation.  The NCF is a credible organization that handles hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. They have the people in place to insure that charitable donations sent overseas are done properly and legally.

Meeting with National Christian Foundation (NCF):
On Wednesday, March the 21st Harry Davis and Faye Gilbreath of the Tres Dias Fund Management committee, along with Bruce Cato and Wilson Burton, met with representatives of National Christian Foundation (NCF) at their Atlanta Office.  Listed below are some of the questions, answers and information we received at the meeting.

We asked NCF for approval to open the account with $7,500.  Approval was given.

We asked if we had to maintain a minimum balance. The answer is no.

We asked if there is a limit on disbursements in a given time frame. The answer is no.

We asked if there is a transaction fee for disbursements.  The answer is no if the balance is $10,000 or above.  If the balance is below $10,000, there is a $12 fee per transaction.

We were advised that a ministry must be registered with their respective government in order to receive funds from NCF.  The request for funds to be sent to another country has to be approved by both, the US government and the government of the country where the funds are being sent.  Our US government notifies NCF when the funds can be sent.

The Tres Dias account with NCF was opened with $10,000. Share the Blessing Fund made a $7,500 donation while the remaining $2,500 came from individual donors.

Guide Lines Being Developed:
The fund management committee is in the process of setting up guide lines for the management of this account.  Please be in prayer for us as we seek to follow God’s will for management of His money.
